As part of a successful working relationship with Bayer, I was asked by their head of studio to help elevate the quality of the materials produced for their UK Crop Science division. One of the main publications is Crop Focus magazine, which is distributed to over 4,000 farmers in the UK.
I took the diagonal lines used in the Bayer guidelines and used large areas of colour and irregular shapes to add interest to each spread. Tied to this was a shift from printing on silk coated paper to an uncoated recycled stock.
